Pappu Can't Dance Saala (2011)

Story :-

It is a movie that begins with Mahek (Neha Dhupia) who wants to become a popular dancer. She comes from a village to Mumbai to realise her dreams.

Come to Mumbai, she incurs the wrath of her neighbour Vidhyadhar (Vinay Pathak), simple and a sweet guy who has a mission to achieve in life - make a livelihood.

They both fear one thing in common. Living in a Sales Tax government employees’ society and being non-government servants, Mahek and Vidyadhar fear that they might be shown red card by vigilance department.

One fine day, Mahek is thrown out and she finds solace in Vidyadhar’s place.

Now two contrasting people meet eye-to-eye. Here begins the twist in the tale.

A comedy caper but with convuluted screenplay. Vinay Pathak is impressive from the word go.

Man who has many comedy roles to his credit lives up to it well.

Neha Dhupia is both beautiful and performs well. She has given her heart out but weak links in the script spoils the show. Rajat Kapoor as Mahek’s dance master is passable.

But for Vinay Pathak the movie is knee-jerk and weak. There are many weak and dull moments. It can be watched by one particular section. Director has made a honest attempt but it falters and stutters in pace.
